Americana and Finger Style

Live with: Doug Smith and Jerry Douglas and guests

Workshop Description

Americana and Fingerstyle is designed for the intermediate guitarist, whether you’re interested in instrumental guitar or are a singer songwriter looking to improve your guitar skills. For the Americana side, this year we will be treated to getting up close and personal every day with Bluegrass legend Jerry Douglas! For the Fingerstyle side, Grammy-Award winner Doug Smith will explore a range of picking styles, work on solo accompaniment for singing, and arrange melodies for guitar breaks or creating a solo arrangement.

Doug Smith Biography
